We have made progress! Today was a design freeze in class. Which was a bit nerve wrecking, espically since this means that there cannot be any drastic changes...all the elements should be there...can't add anything but fine tune it. While I have finally decided and worked on the monitoring device, the other idea has always been in the back of mind but it was such a relied today to lock in a design.  I talked with my Tutor and showed him my CAD and what I did, what sensors are involved and where I'm going with it. The design was received well, however there are a lot of things to consider moving forward. Things to consider such as the style, look and feel...making something simple that's not dull and boring.  Since the design freeze is this week, in preparation, I have quickly modeled my design in CAD. I want to keep things simple and easy with my design, I didn't want to over complicate it with visuals but instead have a seamless look. The pictures below are what my design currently looks like. I feel it still needs improvements, to be refined but the components are there. The bag isn't ideal and the frame is maybe too sturdy but I felt it was necessary to hold the sensors from the arduino.
