Week 13.4 - A3 Products
I have it regretted now, even though its done.
So instead of simply buying a watch strap from the shops for about $8, I decided to make mine out of laser print. Where I cut 30 small panels, sanded the final ones, painted them on one side, and then sewed them together.
Now that I've done them, I feel like it was a waste of time but I think the orange that I will use for the working prototype looks pretty cool.....Don't think it was worth it though...it didn't really turn out how I thought but it also did...if that makes sense.
The coverslip in comparison was beautiful to make. I used a sewing machine and sewed in drawstrings to make a slip that can be adjusted. It's made from cotton as I want and with the colours I was looking at; white and grey. They aren't the perfect tone but they're good to represent.
The below images are some process images of how I made my products.
